Just a quick update to make my page a little more current.  I'm now working part-time at an absolutely wonderful horse stable where I'm paid 3x as much, with great conditions/hours, and where the horses are so beautiful they take my breath away.  I'm also a graduate researcher in the biological sciences at my university, with an office (who'd have thought?).  I'm still in training per say, but I cultured neurons on my own this week, and they turned out beautifully. I'm aiming to go to the graduate symposium with the rest of my team sometime in November - along with possibly more trips later this year/this spring.  I also proposed a research project for a friend of mine involving possible megacolon in rats.  The proposal was a success, with accurate diagnosis in the affected individuals.  I'm really happy she's going to be working on it, and I think she'll perform wonderfully. God is good.
